Ingredients

  • ½ cup water (120 ml), hot
  • 7 oz tomato paste (200 g)
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp strong mustard
  • 1 tsp worcester sauce
  • 2 bay leaves
  • pepper
  • salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Add all the ingredients to the bowl of the Cook Processor and then season with a good pinch of pepper and salt.

  2. 2. Close the bowl and select BOIL P1. Then press Start to activate the program. Once done, press cancel to exit the keep warm mode.

Then check the seasoning and add extra pepper, salt, mustard, white wine vinegar or brown sugar to taste if necessary and give the ketchup an extra stir. Let the ketchup cool down fully. Then pour it in a sterilized jar. Store the ketchup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
