My homemade tomato ketchup recipe or how to make your favorite sauce... from scratch in your own kitchen.
1. Add all the ingredients to the bowl of the Cook Processor and then season with a good pinch of pepper and salt.
2. Close the bowl and select BOIL P1. Then press Start to activate the program. Once done, press cancel to exit the keep warm mode.
3. The ketchup should have thickened nicely. Then check the seasoning and add extra pepper, salt, mustard, white wine vinegar or brown sugar to taste if necessary and give the ketchup an extra stir. Let the ketchup cool down fully. Then pour it in a sterilized jar. Store the ketchup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
