Homemade Black Pepper Sauce

Here's how to make this delicious condiment at home from now on!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp black peppercorns
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Shaoxing rice wine
  • 2 tsp potato starch
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  1. 1) Pour the whole peppercorns into a mortar. Crush them into a coarse powder with the pestle. Make sure that the peppercorns are still a bit chunky.

  2. 2) Then combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. Stir into a smooth sauce.

  3. 3) Store the black pepper sauce in the fridge. This black pepper sauce is a great marinade for beef!
