Ingredients

  • 1 ⅓ lbs fresh chorizo sausage (600 g)
  • 2 cups apple cider (480 ml)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 clove
  • pepper
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Peel the garlic clove and then add it together with the olive oil, bay leaves and the clove to the bowl of the Cook Processor fitted with the StirAssist. Season with a little pinch of pepper and salt.

  2. Close the bowl of the Cook Processor and select BOIL P2. Press Start to activate Step 1. After that, add the chorizo sausages to the bowl and pour in the apple cider.

  3. Close the lid again and press Start to activate Step 2. Once the program is finished, press cancel to exit the keep warm mode.

  4. Remove the boiled chorizo sausages and slice them up. Then transfer the chorizo to a small deep plate and drizzle with the remaining cider sauce. Add extra pepper or salt to to taste if necessary. Sprinkle with the freshly chopped parsley and serve the chorizo in cider hot.
