  • 14 oz plain flour (400 g)
  • cup whole milk (160 ml), warm
  • 1 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • cup caster sugar (75 g)
  • 1 medium egg lightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Add a few tablespoons of the warm milk to a small cup and stir in the yeast.

  3. Then add the flour, sugar and beaten egg to a blender. Season with salt.

  4. Blend a few times and then add the buttery milk.

  5. Pulse again and then add the yeast milk.

  6. Blend into a wet dough.
